Mycelium Maidens
My design process for Hyde is based on a Bleeding Tooth mushroom (a mid-range Blaster with abilities to shoot bombs that you can jump on). 
Clavaria is based on a Clavarioid mushroom (Long-range sniper with scope ability and time slow while in the air).
Truffle's design was created by my friend who wanted to design her and this was the final design that I iterated on. (Melee fists that can ground pound to stun and launch enemies back)
Schoolgirl versions (can't have magical girls without their human form!) and their charms holding the mushrooms which is where they draw their power from. These are used for dialogue between the characters pre-transformation.
Figuring out what the game might look like. Originally we wanted 3 levels but we had to scale back the scope due to lack of time.
In-game Screenshots. There are two levels, the classroom and outside in the city. I created the sniper that was to be used in the final game. Kept it low poly because our group liked that old PlayStation aesthetic.
